Future Possibilities

In order to understand the impact of potential future development, the students needed to be aware of boundaries and restrictions on development in Millarville. We invited local developers, a MD councilor and a local resident to speak to us about the area development plan which sets out the parameters for future development.

A local business woman, Wendy, then provided the expertise to help the students develop a questionnaire that would inform us of community opinion regarding the future of Millarville. It was sent out to 500 local residents and the response was fantastic! Wendy then returned to help the students set up a data base and learn how to input the data. Her final visit involved interpreting the data and showing the students various ways to graph the results. Link to survey and the results.
