Future of the Hamlet of Millarville

"We want a feeling of community where we feel safe, peaceful and quiet. This is why we chose to live in Millarville. Hopefully this is what is planned for the future of Millarville because we are the Future." - grade 2s & 3s

The following results from our survey are based on 133 of a total of 168 surveys which were correctly completed and returned by the due date.

  • 68% of those who responded were 26 - 60 years
  • 20% of those who responded were 13 -17 years
  • 10% of those who responded were 61 years and older
  • 2% of those who responded were 18 -25 years

The following is our interpretation of the results from our survey

How many houses would you like to see in the section of land by the pond and the field behind the Millarville General Store?

  • 45% responded with none
  • 38% responded with 1-20
"A place where there are no sounds of police and ambulance. A safe place." grade 2s& 3s.

Would you like more businesses or services in the Hamlet of Millarville?

 

  • 66% responded with yes

"Make sure that it is what we need not just what we want." grade 2s & 3s.

What businesses would you like in the Hamlet of Millarville?

  • 40% responded coffee shop
  • 25% responded restaurant
"A place to visit, a meeting place, a place for family." - grade 2s & 3s

What services would you like in the Hamlet of Millarville?

  • 40% responded recreation centre
  • 25% responded seniors lodge
"A place to be with our friends and community."
