Pound Bylaw

Bylaw # 87 was passed in 1953 and states:

… the animal is considered any horse, mule, donkey, cow , sheep, pig goat or goose  The term running at large is any animal not under control by the owner…. If any owner willingly lets the animal run at large then the owner has to pay a fine.

Even though this bylaw still exists it has changed.  The pound keeper no longer posts ads in the local newspaper for animals found and the fines have changed.
