Sometimes it is easy to understand the purpose of something if you consider what would happen if it wasn’t there. Imagine a community that did not have parking bylaws. Drivers could drive and park anywhere. What would the result be?

“Bylaw # 69 made in 1946 states, how you had to park your car at a 60 degree angle with a street car. No parked car was allowed to extend more than 18 feet into the street. Now we have parking lots and paved streets….”
