Discovering our Native People "Who Were These People?"

They were the ones who were here before.
They were the first people.
They were travelers.

They were spiritual people.
They had special ceremonies and traditions.

They were peaceful caring people.
They were wise, especially about nature and their animals.

They were storytellers, artists and crafts people.
They explained things and passed on their teaching.

They were not greedy.
They were grateful.
They were not wasteful.
They shared everything.

They had rules of honour.
They were hard working.

They were the Stoney.
