Red Deer Lake Student Story 2:
Alexandria School

Alexandria School was built in 1902, however all that’s left today is a bit of concrete, and that’s nearly disappeared. It was closed down in 1956, however when the school was running it was often more of a Scottish school. Many of the boys often started fights at the school and always stirred up trouble.

Although the fights went on at Alexandria School it was very important to the community by teaching children even back then. It helped children to grow up with an education. The kids at Alexandria School also loved to play baseball.
