Journey of Discovery

Students from grades 2 & 3 were involved in the Understanding our Heritage project which helped them develop an overview of the history of their community of Millarville. This involved opportunities to work in both large and small groups, individually and with parents as co-learners, in and outside of the school, visiting museums and historical sites. They were however always allowed time to share their findings with classmates thereby helping to establish a communal understanding of how understanding our history helps to guide our future directions.
