Turner Valley Student Story 3:
Shoprite Store

Hi.  I am the Shoprite store on Main Street in Turner Valley.  My walls went up in 1929.  One side of me was a place where there were wonderful clothes with many different colours.  The other side of me was a brokerage.  The person that ran the brokerage would help people sell items.  There was a sign put up in front of me and I was purchased by Ron Freeman.  Later on Ron Freeman stashed tasty fruits and vegetables on my hardwood floors.  I changed hands and businesses and in 1992 Pro Building Center bought me for storage.  I am empty now but I am still standing today waiting for someone to stock my shelves.
