Millarville Student Story 1:
Millarville

I remember the day that Jim Plummer had a house built on the ¼ section next to me.  The house was a one story brown house.  Jim worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway.

When he went back to England, people moved in and out of the house.

One time the house was painted pink.  This is important because Jim was here for 22 years.  People used the place to tell direction.  He also lived at the corner everybody referred to as Plummer’s Corner and still today they do.

Once a radio station had a broadcast and told everybody to turn at the pink house.  The day before the broadcast, a person painted the house brown from pink and everybody would just drive right by.
