Did the schools have activities such as choirs and sports teams?

Ah, we played ball. We played a lot of baseball. And I don t remember us having choices or- And the Easter plays were wonderful. It was like a drama club but we did it in class and we d go down to the old theatre in Turner Valley and we d get to put it on in the theatre. Now when you started, you probably put them on here.

In the gym. But when I was growing up we went down and we put on these plays in the theatre and it was really really lots of fun.
