Davisburg Senior Story 2

Around here, in Davisburg in particular, there were three graveyards. There's one at the Davisburg Church, which still is there, there was one down by the Indian school and that graveyard was reclaimed and the remains were sent to another Indian burial ground, but the third one was a buffalo burial ground. Over here, off the – at the – approximately at the end of 96th Street the Indians used to chase their buffalo over the bank and that's how they got their food. So there used to be a tremendous amount of buffalo bones down there. But they were also reclaimed and sent off over the period of time.
