Black Diamond Store - Senior Story 1

How did you get to the store? On horseback or like, did you guys get a car?

 

When I was little my dad road horseback into Black Diamond. It was three miles that he would ride into Black Diamond and he has, you know where Blackman s store is in Black Diamond? That was the grocery store, and my dad used to take butter and cream and sometimes eggs. And then they traded. Oh wow. So he would take home flour and sugar and coffee, that type of thing. And then we got a truck, and we drove that. It was a old truck, and when we got a newer one then my dad let my brother and I drive that older one to high school.
