Inspired by the student's work on town bylaws, just a short drive to the West of them at Magrath School, the students from Stirling School decided they too wanted to examine the questions and issues around bylaws in their community.

Educational Mentor Judy Martin, in collaboration with Stirling School elementary teacher Kent Evanson designed a collaborative discipline-based inquiry to the bylaws of Stirling. The work was designed to both meet the learning needs of the students and to situate the work in a new context, Stirling's bylaws.
