Mr. Bryan Clark – Geologist

Mr. Clark also talked about the shells and fossils, because we know that if we find one of the shells, there could be oil nearby or in the hole where the shell was found.	Bryan Clark, a parent in our community, came to our school to talk about his job as a geologist. He talked to us about oil and gas and how to find it by using the rock formations - like when there are holes in certain rocks, it means there is oil because there is more room for the oil to be there.
	He talked about Alberta’s gemstone, ammonite, and its changing colors. The piece he showed us even had dinosaur teeth marks in it!
