I give thanks to mother earth for life. Green is mother earth and I used lots of green because everything lives on Mother Earth. My idea for the design was from the four winds and the four directions because the number 4 was important to the Stonies. The cross has 4 sides. Four diamonds point into the center. The black circle is the center of the earth. The diamonds mean people and all the different colors show the native designs on mother earth.
