I chose the diamond because it is a geometric shape. The Stonies respected the diamond and it meant something special to them. The arrow are to point the way to go in the four directions. I chose the colors red and brown because they are season colors and are connected to mother earth. The triangles are turquoise which is connected to the spirit people. The orange diamonds on the corner and in the center are to protect the people.
