reflections of Blackfoot colour and design | reflections on Stoney colour and design | artistry of the land home page

This pattern came to me in a dream. I did this pattern because I learned all sorts of Stoney patterns and I did my design in a strip because it makes me think of snakes. The two blue triangles in my story mean the mountains and tipis where they lived. The orange crosses mean protection in all four directions. The two purple shapes with the orange circle above means protection over the universe and the two upside-down triangles mean changing season over everything. The two green circles mean mother earth all around. This pattern has symmetry for everything and is all balanced.
