There are 4 colors in my design. The number 4 is very important to the Blackfoot people and should be in my design. The octagon shape reminds me of some medicine plants for a medicine bundle. The triangles are like the Blackfoot tipis. The triangle also looks like a mountain with a cave inside it. The circles are the moon.
My classmates thought my design and colors would be worn by an old medicine man who was very wise. The Blackfoot have great respect for the medicine man.
