Writing a Research Paper

Use the information that you have collected during your research to write your paper. Be sure to include information about each of the following:

Describe the problem/issue

  • relationship between human health and water.
  • relationship between the issue and water as a natural habitat.
  • relate the issue to the water cycle
  • describe water characteristics

Impacts on Water Quality

  • human impacts on water quality
  • issue impacts of water quality
  • short and long term implications of this issue.
  • explain why we should care and pay attention to your issue
  • case studies

Possible Solutions and Recommendations

  • Identify interventions,preventions and changed practices that have occurred to address this issue.
  • Describe what solutions have been proposed to resolve the issue and which ones would be recommended by various stakeholders.
  • Which recommendations would be resisted by various stakeholders?
  • What role if any, has the government played in addressing this issue?
  • What can or should individuals do to address this issue?

  • List all of the resources that you used in alphabetical order by author.
