When I got off the plane my ears hurt. I heard Inuktitut. I saw Inuktitut writing. Before we went home we went shopping for the things we needed and then we went home to Nunavut and unpacked. After we went and explored. We went to the museum and went home. Our house was white. It had 6 rooms. Our neighborhood had a dog sled.

Dad and I were having snowball fights while my sister and mom went snowboarding and skiing. Ow! My dad scraped my ear! I hit his arm. After we went out to a restaurant and had fish and it was good. Then we went home.

When I awoke from my good sleep, Mom said, "We are going camping today." I shouted "Wupee!" and ran outside with glee in the nice day, in the flowers and got ready and packed. This is the first time I went camping in the Arctic. I was wondering what it would be like and soon we left town. A few minutes later we were at our campground. We had to make a tent out of sealskin. While me and Dad went hunting. We had to wait an hour and a half to catch a seal. It was hard pulling the seal out of the water and soon we had to go back to our tent. When we got home we were exhausted from hunting. Mom skinned the seal and had supper. The next day we went home.

December 13, 2001

At night we tell legends. In the Arctic I also saw a Inukshuk Dad and I went hunting for seal. It took a day. It was cold and snowy and looked like a storm was coming in. We had to hurry home, but it was to late, the storm had come in. We could not make it. It was a mile far so we buried ourselves for along time. Three days later we undug ourselves and was I socked heavy. I walked home and started to pack and drove to the airport. I got on the airplane and Mom, Dad, me and my sister were asleep and got off the plan and drove to our sweet home.
