We are landing. My ears are popping. We landed. The pane ride was bumpy. When got off it was bus. We got our luggage and we caught a bus. I see an igloo racing contest on the way to our house. I see no tree on our way to our house. Our house I s small. It has no basement. It’s about five feet off the ground. Our house has a thermometer outside that says its –6. Then we went exploring. We went to quick store, and then we went to our school to see our teacher. We went for dinner. We went home and changed for bed. Tomorrow we woke up we went for brunch at the Kamotiq Inn. After brunch we went to our neighbor who took us on their dog sled team out to the ice to go ice fishing and seal catching. Most of the time I played with their nine year old son. We built snow forts and snowmen. We went skating and snowboarding and we walked back to drive their skidoos. We it started to get dark, we drove the skidoos back. Our parents, little brother and little sister rode the dog sled home. We ate our seal and our fish for dinner. After dinner our Inuit neighbors told us legends and some Inuit music. Then we went to bed. I didn’t go to bed. I stayed awake. I was thinking about their fishing rods. You have to turn the fishing rod sideways for the string to lift up.

My mom, dad, brother sister and I talk about our summer holiday. We are going camping with our neighbors. So we start to pack. We load up the A.T.V. trailer. Everyone goes in the trailer except 2 people. One is the operator, the second person is a passenger. Then we leave We go to camp. We set up camp. We make our bed. In the morning we have breakfast and go looking for big game. Soon we see a herd of caribou. We look for the bull. We find him in the front. We shot and it is a hit. The bull drops a 100 yards away. It is a big one. We haul it home. When we get home and have lunch. The fish came from my sister, my brother, my friend, my friends’ mom and I. After lunch we go rock climbing for the rest of the day. When it starts to get dark we went home and prepared our caribou dinner. It was delicious. In the morning we packed up and left.
