Going On a Trip By Bethany

My family was going for a trip to the mountains. We headed for the train. It was so big. I was with my family so I was excited but I was a little worried too. We all got on. We brought everything we needed even our pet cat Stitch. We went to our little cabin to get settled in. It had two seats that were on each side of the window and a bed that came down from the ceiling. I had to climb up to the bed to sit on it. I sat on the bed. It was hard. Stitch and I sat there for a while to get used to being up so high. We sat there quietly and watched the train leave the station. We watched as the prairie turned into small hills. When it was bedtime I looked up on the bed there was nobody on the bed so I got in the bed and went to sleep. When it was morning we were in the mountains.
