Remember All These Things By Sarah

"Amanda!" called Dad.

"What," replied Amanda?

" Time for bed."

"Yippy!'' said Amanda. She went slowly up the stairs and then she ran to her room and jumped on her bed. She gave her dad a big hug and kiss. "I love you dad.''

"I love you to but you will have to go to sleep now."

Amanda curled up in her quilt and remembered about her grandma. She cried because her Grandma died just last month. She remembered the spider that liked her grandma. The quilt smelt extremely clean. The smell reminded her of the fresh baked pie that her Grandma would have just coming out of the oven. She felt the thread that was cool and bumpy. As she pulled the thread it sounded like her cat going across the bed. It made her remember when grandma and her would curl up under grandma's quilt and read a story. "I know my grandma is up in heaven watching me and she is happy because I am so good," said Amanda. I have her quilt to remember her by.
